Sophia Krzys Acord
Sophia Krzys Acord is a specialist researcher at UC Berkeley's Center for Studies in Higher Education (CSHE), working on The Future of Scholarly Communication Project. She holds a Ph.D. and an MRes (Masters of Research Methodology) in Sociology from the University of Exeter, U.K. , and a BA in Sociology & Anthropology (minor in Interpretation Theory) from Swarthmore College. Dr. Acord is a fellow at Yale University’s Center for Cultural Sociology and at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales’ Group for the SocioAnthropology of the Fine Arts (Paris). She also co-edits the journal Music and Arts in Action (MAiA).
